Tyler received a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas in 2010. Tyler holds the Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam), and Series 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor) securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable licenses. Tyler entered the industry in 2012.
Tyler is a die hard sports fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and his alma matre Kansas Jayhawks. He is active in the Wichita Wagonmasters as well as volunteering with the visually impaired at Heathers Camp.
